South Springvale WSC- October 2008
South Springvale Women's Soccer Club is looking for new players to join the team for next season 2009. After a successful 2008 season winning the Div 2 S/E League, the team is eager to move forward into Div 1 and have another outstanding year.
The team is training every Thursday night starting October 16 at 6.15-6.30pm.

Riversdale Soccer Club - Under 16 Players required for 2009 - October 2008
We are looking for two players to strengthen our current Under 15 squad, as it moves into the Under 16A competition in 2009 having secured promotion from Under 15B in 2008.
Throughout 2009, many of our Under 16 players will be given opportunities to play and train with our senior teams.
This team is well coached by senior coach Stuart McArthur who has second to none record of success with teams at this level and of producing senior players. Stuart was a former professional player and has been coaching juniors for over 10 years with great success.
The club policy of promoting youth will guarantee senior soccer opportunities to boys eager to advance themselves.

East Bentleigh Soccer Club Under 14 Boys Team are looking to replenish the Team as it progresses from Division B South East to Division A for 2009. The Team is filled by a great group of boys who have been together for a few years and are a very close-knit group. To continue to enjoy the successes of the past 3 years we are seeking key players to fill in potential exposures within the Team. The specific type/s of players we are seeking are: Goalkeeper (big and strong with a good kick), Central Defender/Sweeper (good speed, able to read play and a great kick), Defender (speedy defender with good ability to read play - either left or right sided), Central Midfielder (someone who can control the ball in middle of the ground and setup teammates), Left Midfielder/Forward (speedy left-footer to play either midfield or forward) and Striker (strong forward with great ball control). Riversdale Soccer Club - Under 13A Players wanted for 2009 - October 2008
After a very successful season our under 12A team narrowly missed gaining a super league place in 2009.
The team played many rounds this season with just 11 players and on some occasions played with only 10.
Competing in the strongest under 12 competition in 2008 this remarkable team still managed to secure wins and some narrow losing margins against some of the power house clubs in the competition.
We will be increasing our 13 player squad to 15 players for the up coming 2009 season.
The team trains 2 nights per week. Monday or Tuesday (Undecided) and Thursday.
Riversdale Soccer Club is based in Camberwell, and no you don't have to try out for a place at Riversdale every season.

Riversdale Soccer Club - Under 18 Players Wanted - October 2008
Under 18 players wanted for 2009.
Riversdale Soccer Club (based in Camberwell) will be entering a team in the under 18 competition in 2009.
Throughout 2008 many of our under 16 players were given opportunities to play and train in our senior teams.
We have a very talented young reserves team with an average team age of seventeen and a half years.
Our reserves team easily won the provisional league championship this year, many of this years under 16s took part in reserves matches throughout the year.
We will be looking for players to strengthen our current under 16 squad when it moves into the under 18 comp in 2009.
Some of our existing under 16 squad will be aiming to secure themselves a permanent place with our senior teams, so we anticipate some vacancies.
Players of any age level 17-16-15 are more than welcome to apply as long as they feel they can physically mix it with the bigger boys in terms of strength and the pace of the game in an U18s league.
We are keen to find a centre forward/striker to accompany our current centre forward/striker in the upcoming season.
Riversdale's under 16s finished 4th this season in the east 16A league with one game in hand and the 2nd best league goal difference.
The team still managed to achieve this playing strikerless for 10 of the 18 weeks (due to injury), so opportunities are a plenty for an accomplished striker with an eye for goal.
Preseason training will commence in December. Interested applicants must be relatively accomplished and success driven.
